The Association of Data Protection Professionals (ADPPI) is a not-for-profit initiative of leading privacy visionaries from across the Indian Continent who take pride in serving privacy and data protection as an important societal value for Indian citizens in the context of which Indian data protection professionals serve as important guardians. Serving as an important self-regulatory mechanism, ADPPI promotes professionalism of Indian data protection professionals across the Indian Continent by codifying best practices, certification schemes and other means for the same. ADPPI being part of a large global community of alike associations also serves as a global voice for Indian data protection professionals in international fora.
